The Sparks Racing Muffler Repacking Kit is an essential part of any exhaust system maintenance schedule. The packing inside the muffler not only reduces sound levels and gives the exhaust a pleasing tone, but it’s, also, an intricate part of heat and vibration absorption. Muffler packing is a WEAR item, so it’s something that will need to be replaced from time-to-time, and we recommend repacking your muffler every 20-30 hours depending on the type of use. It’s extremely important the correct material and amount is used to insure proper operation of the packing. Our packing kit is specifically designed to repack the Sparks Racing muffler, so you can be sure it is the exact material and quantity required for your muffler. Our packing comes in a pre-measured “pillow” which makes for a simple installation as opposed to having to “loose” pack your muffler using a universal packing kit.
