| The original (rivet) style muffler from Sparks Racing was a one piece core, cap and turn down. Here is a photo of the standard 2" Race core (bottom) and the 2-1/4" Big core (top). |

| Sparks Racing offers two different items for the original style 2" Race core. The spark arrestor insert (bottom) $39.95. The spark arrestor and quiet insert (top) $49.95. Rivets are included with the inserts. It is a good idea to repack your exhaust at this time. These kits are only available for the 2" Race cores. No spark arrestor or quiet insert is available for the 2-1/4" Big core. |

| Basically, the 3 rivets on the back of the canister get drilled out. The core is slid out. The spark arrestor is slid into the perforated core and riveted into place. Then you reinstall the core into the muffler and re-rivet it to the aluminum canister. |

| If you don't like the idea of doing all of that. We can convert your muffler to a modular cap style. It must be done in house. We can not sell the parts seperate. The charge for parts and labor which includes a new core, billet aluminum end cap, a new modular turn down, all of the hardware and new packing is $175. Turnaround is 3-5 days. |
