The Sparks Racing Stage 2 Cylinder Head Porting services for the Polaris RZR 1000 XP are second to none. This is a must for any performance build, everything from a modest stock displacement engine to an all-out big bore performance build. Engine performance is based around the principals of air flow, which we maximize in our porting profiles.  An engine’s ability to make power is directly related to the engine’s ability to supply and exhaust enough air to meet the demands of the engine. On the RZR 1000 XP in particular, there is a significant imbalance between the intake valve diameter and exhaust valve diameter. So, in our Stage 2 cylinder head work we increase the exhaust valve diameter by 1.5mm, which is the maximum valve size the stock valve seat will accept. We have been designing and building industry leading cylinder head profiles for over 40 years, so we are no stranger to cylinder head flow dynamics and performance characteristics. We have done extensive R&D on both our state-of-the-art flow bench and chassis dyno to refine our porting designs and ensure the most performance possible out of each cylinder head we build. All the cylinder heads we build are backed by over 4 decades of championship winning performance and are still building championships today!

The purchase of our Oversized Exhaust Valves Set is required to complete the listed services. The RZR 1000 XP no longer uses a shim-under-bucket design, so in order for us to set the valve adjustment, the purchase of our Shim-Under-Bucket Conversion Kit, or our Heavy Duty Valve Spring Kit AND Heavy Duty Valve Bucket Set is required.
