The Sparks Racing HD Exhaust Valve Guide Set for the RZR 900 XP/XP4 will replace all of the stock alloy steel exhaust valve guides with Tough-Met valve guides. These guides will last significantly longer than steel or bronze valve guides. Polaris has two different types of valve guides they use in the RZR 900 heads; one uses a “conventional seal” (like these guides) and the type uses a “hat seal” which incorporates the seal into the spring base. If your engine has the “hat” style, you will need to purchase (4) spring bases and (4) “conventional” seals to use these guides. Anytime valve guides are replaced, you must have a precision valve job done to re-square the guides and seats.
